Hi, my name is Kate Hughes.


I am the founder of Kate Hughes Meditation.

I started this company because I am passionate about teaching others the skills that I have come to rely on to cope with everyday life. I do this by teaching mindfulness and meditation techniques that are accessible to all, regardless of personal background, experience, occupation or faith.

I have completed a 100 hour Transformational Meditation Teacher Training and 55 hour Breath Work Teacher Training both accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals, and a 200 hour Mindfulness Teacher Training with Zenways.

thE BESPOKE RETREAT

This retreat will take place in Salcombe in a luxury home on the quay from 25th February to 1st March 2025. Sometimes two nights just isn't long enough to completely recharge, and you're just relaxing when it's time to go home! So I want to give you the opportunity to not only completely unwind, but to work with me on a bespoke wellbeing programme designed with your needs in mind. A small number of guests means we can design our time together to include everything that you need to nurture your own wellbeing.

£1750 including all 1-1 and group sessions

thE RELAXING DAY RETREAT

A Day Retreat designed with your wellbeing in mind! We will explore gentle movement, breath work, a sound bath, and meditation and mindfulness techniques all aimed at promoting calm. Literally slow down for the day, and discover how simply being with kindness and curiosity can promote your emotional health. Leave feeling relaxed and restored, and with a sense of inner peace. Our venue is the beautiful Wellness Barn in Marlow.

Investment:

£95 including sound bath and two course lunch

kindfulness: a 5-week compassion course

During the five weeks we will be exploring self-compassion in a gentle and mindful way, and we will also be expanding our compassion towards others using different techniques and meditations. Self-compassion can be something that we all struggle with, often putting others needs before our own. The reality is that we cannot expand our kindness to others effectively if it doesn't include us. Join this small group to broaden your own experience of compassion.

£125 for 5 ninety minute classes

8-WEEK MINDFULNESS COURSE for health & wellbeing

This 8 week course is designed to promote your overall health and wellbeing, and will incorporate both general mindfulness and specific meditation techniques to deal with managing stress, anxiety and pain, improve focus and concentration, and boost vitality and energy.

The course is based on teachings from the Zen tradition which has been practised in Japan since the 9th century, but are taught in a way that is relevant to your life today.

This course is suitable for you if you’re looking for an introduction to mindfulness and meditation or are looking for a way to deal with stress related problems. This nurturing 8 week course will transform your mind set and enable you to lead a calmer and happier life.

This is an online course. The group will run via Zoom.

£245 including all course materials and meditations to keep

1 TO 1

Enjoy meditation in a private setting. Whether you want to learn basic techniques, improve your existing practice or experience guided meditation, your bespoke programme can be designed to suit your needs.

Investment:

£75 for initial 75 minute consultation, £240 for every subsequent block of four sessions.

Location:

Studio, home address or via Zoom call.

Terms:

Payment for your session is required in advance. Please note that if you cancel within 24 hours, payment will be taken in full unless otherwise agreed between us. If for any unforeseen circumstances I need to cancel our session no charge will be made to you.

LOCAL GROUP CLASSES

A delightful community to support your wellbeing. Join us for Meditation Mondays. One hour classes take place at 0930 and 1900 every Monday excluding Bank Holidays. These classes are drop in and are suitable for everyone.

£10 per session or purchase a class pass (10 classes) for £80

Suitable for all levels including absolute beginners.

I am also hosting face to face classes at at Norden Farm Arts Centre on selected Fridays. Please book directly with the venue.
